Salon Policies

Appointment Cancellations

Cancellations or appointment changes made at least one business day in advance allows our team the opportunity to accommodate other guests, and will be greatly appreciated. However, please be advised that appointment cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice for non-chemical services will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Chemical treatment appointment cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. As a courtesy, we will contact you to confirm your service appointment prior to your appointment date. If you do not reply to your reminder, confirming at least within 24 hours of your appointment, your reservation will be cancelled and you will be subject to the above-noted cancellation fees.

Late Arrivals

To ensure the promptness of all appointments, we reserve the right to reschedule any appointment that is 15 minutes late or later to another more convenient time. We realize emergencies arise and sometimes things are out of your control when trying to be on time for an reservation, and we will try our best to work with you. But please realize that when just one person is late for an appointment, it can delay scheduled services for ALL clients' appointments that day. It is not fair to everyone else who arrives early or on time to have to sit and wait because of another person's tardiness.

Arrival

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow you time to unwind, enjoy a beverage, change into a smock, or preview a possible new look in our various fashion magazines.

Payment by Personal Check

Salon 1580 accepts personal checks. There will be a $35 charge for all returned checks. Please arrange to make good on the payment within three business days, via credit card or cash.

Credit Card Service Fee

Salon 1580 gladly accepts debit and credit cards. However the processing company charges a 3.4% fee per charge; 4% for American Express.

Discount Coupons

Salon 1580 offers a number of discounts, rewards, and coupons (birthday coupons, referral coupons, recommendation coupons, etc.). Please limit use of discounts to one per visit and please present a printed copy of the offer prior to service. Please note that these offers may NOT be combined with Discounted Gift Certificates and Prepaid Service Vouchers, either upon purchase or at redemption.

Prepaid Services

From time to time, the Salon offers additional incentives/discounts when you prepay for your services. Please note that services must be prepaid for at least 72 hours prior to the appointment for which it will be redeemed. Please remember that this offer may NOT be combined with any other offers, discounts, or rewards, including Discounted Gift Certificates and Prepaid Service Vouchers, either upon purchase or at redemption.

Gift Certificates

From time to time, the Salon offers additional incentives/discounts when you buy Gift Certificates. Clients are welcome to purchase and use Gift Certificates for THEMSELVES, as well, to take advantage of any discounts/specials offered on Gift Certificates, however please note that Gift Certificates must be purchased at least 72 hours prior to the appointment for which a client desires to redeem it for their own services. Please remember that this offer may NOT be combined with any other offers, discounts, or rewards, including Discounted Gift Certificates and Prepaid Service Vouchers, either upon purchase or at redemption.

Redos

Salon 1580 stands firmly behind all of its salon services. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your service please contact us immediately so we can remedy the situation. Tweaks and adjustments will be honored for up to one week from the date of your service.

Returns/Refunds

Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services performed. However, we will work tirelessly to ensure you are satisfied. Salon 1580 proudly offers authentic brand-name products, and stands behind all its products. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS ON PRODUCTS unless the product packaging is damaged (bottles, pump, etc.). Due to sanitation and safety issues, Salon 1580 cannot resell or return products to the manufacturer once they have left the store unless there is a product defect.

Gratuities

Gratuities are kindly accepted, however please tip salon assistants individually.  Gratuities to the salon owner may be included in charges for your services and product purchases. Please tip staff separately, as each has her own, separate forms of payment for your tipping convenience. Your understanding and generosity is greatly appreciated. Recommendation for gratuities: a minimum of 15% based on the full-value price of your services, or 20% based on a specially priced offer or discounted service. 

Children

Salon 1580 loves children as much as you do, but reminds you that it may not be a safe environment for your child, as he/she may be exposed to breathing chemicals, being around scissors, razors, electrical equipment, etc.
